Location: The BC Rockies & Kootenay Valley

The second 18 holes at the fantastic Bear Mountain Resort is another Nicklaus Design masterpiece. This par 71 course measures approximately 6800 yards from the back tee and is often considered a friendlier version of the existing mountain course. With wider fairways and larger greens the course also includes carefully placed bunkers and natural creeks and streams throughout.

Storey Creek Golf Course

Location: Comox Valley & Campbell River

Cut from the coastal forests in the Comox Valley, Storey Creek offers one of the best golfing layouts on Vancouver Island. Often referred to as “a course through nature”, Storey Creek will lead you around lakes, creeks, marshes, and meadows with regular sightings of eagles, hawks, and deer.

Fairwinds Golf Course

Location: Parksville & Qualicum Beach

The lush, tree lined fairways and Les Furber’s famous tiered greens led Fairwinds to be named as the BCPGA facility of the year in 1999. Fairwinds is located in the small sea-side community of Nanoose Bay, approximately 15 minutes south of Parksville. The course does not play overly long so humble course management is essential. A round at Fairwinds will offer panoramic ocean views, abundant wildlife, and beautiful natural surroundings.

Morningstar Golf Course

Location: Parksville & Qualicum Beach

Another Les Furber design, Morningstar has two different nines. The front nine quickly veers into the thick coastal forest and uses tight tree lined fairways as defence. The back nine is a more of a links style design and uses strategically placed bunks and water hazards as it main weapons. Regardless of the hole, playing over 7000 yards, Morningstar is a great test of golf.

The Dunes Golf Course

Location: Thompson Okanagan

The lush fairways at The Dunes have been carved from the sand that was once the bottom of the North Thompson River. Sage-brush, wheat grass, and wild fescue guard most fairways and give way to vast waste areas and strategically placed bunkers. Winner of numerous awards including best new courses in Canada (1997), the Dunes is a excellent test of golf for all players.

Rivershore Golf Course

Location: Thompson Okanagan

With the South Thompson River to the south and sage-brushed covered hills to the north, Rivershore is a fantastic tour through the Thompson Valley bottom. Playing over 7000 yards, designer Robert Trent Jones Sr. has created a beautiful blend of challenge and playability in the north Okanagan desert.

Sun Rivers Golf Course

Location: Thompson Okanagan

Fairways carved through natural canyons, gentle contoured greens, and up to five sets of tee’s make Sun Rivers a memorable round for all golfers. As one of the few true “desert” courses in Canada, the course is situated amongst rolling, sage covered, hills and offers sweeping views of the Thompson Valley.

Tobiano Golf Course

Location: Thompson Okanagan

Award winning designer Thomas McBroom has transformed the rugged bench lands of the north Okanagan into a golf course that is unlike any other in the world. The views of the lake and the barren landscape can make it hard to concentrate on the game. Beware; a missed fairway can lead to a severe penalty as the course is surrounded by desert.
