We are looking for an intimate wedding setting
Hi, my daughter is getting married at the end of the summer and we are looking for an intimate setting for the wedding with view of the ocean on either Vancouver Island or one of the Gulf Islands. Ideally the place should have a few rooms to accommodate some people and a kitchen facility where the caterers can prepare the meals. We would like to have the wedding ceremony outside, so a nice garden would be great! We will be between 40-50 people and need another hotel, guesthouses or B&Bs close by where our guests can stay. One of the properties we are working with is called the Eagles Nest Retreat and it is located on Galiano Island. It has a beautiful oceanfront setting and is a very popular destination for people looking for an intimate wedding setting. The main house has six unique bedrooms and cozy alcoves and is equipped with a state of the art kitchen. The garden has a 180 degree view of the ocean and other surrounding Gulf Islands and can easily accommodate 40-50 people. In addition to the main house there is a separate romantic cabin with a wrap around patio which can sleep up to 4 people. Other accommodation options on Gailano are available and close by. We were fascinated by the peacefulness and the views the property offers when we first stayed there. I can only recommend it to somebody looking for a special place to get married.
